Excellent player. Ads are not at all intrusive. Get this one! Edit 6/30/25: When I wrote the review, it was true, ads were not that noticeable. Now, if you leave the app, you have to wait for the ad when you return. A real PITA when setting up new vids. If you pause a video, (to read or view something), a pop-up appears. It's not as bad as YouTube or Rumble but it is so annoying it's caused me to find another video player.

This app has NEVER stalled, crashed, not opened, not closed.. Just ONE ad that you can immediately close. I've had app for several years and every update has worked without any trouble. I haven't taken advantage of the apps many custom settings only because I'm happy with it's default setting/mode. It is one of those apps that you wouldn't be upset to have paid a few bucks for. But you pay ZERO for this media playing HERO!

Update to 5 after using this a while. It works well enough. Auto download album covers would be nice option. Have to manually add if missing. Equalizer not usable to me and that's ok as I use other dedicated ones. It takes out low end bass just for turning it on, even at "flat" and can't really add it back and it's only 5 bands but no big deal, I use others. On android 15. Video stuff is organized and easy to see whatever's on phone. Music player works well too.
