Story
----------------------------------
Some decades ago now, there sat a small, unassuming ramen shop in a tiny town in Japan.
It seemed like it had been there forever, but its origins are quite peculiar, indeed.
Much abbreviated, this is how it goes...

A stubborn old man who—to hear the townsfolk tell it—never cracked a smile married the nicest, most amiable woman you could ever hope to meet, and together they opened a restaurant. The two made a formidable team; their eatery soon became a fixture in town, and seemed destined to become an institution. That is, until the old man turned to his wife one day and said...

Y'know, I've been thinkin'...

Such was the beginning of his pitch to turn their humble establishment into a ramen shop.
His wife was taken aback, but after a moment's pause, merely smiled back at him.

What a lovely idea. I'll help however I can.

For you see, they'd always shared a quiet regret between them. One rarely spoken, but ever-present—a knot in their shoulders they could never massage away.
An unfulfilled promise.
A dream deferred.

This is the story of their reinvention.

I am a preregistration player and just finished story mode. It was lovely! The game itself was as manageable and enjoyable as always. The ramen crafting was a nice feature, but I think a few hints were a little too vague. Same for deliveries. (Maybe it's just me, though.) Other than that, the character stories were wonderful. All that's left is to max out my dishes. Yet another beautiful entry to the series~!

Played all the installments. The last one's game machinics wasn't as quick and responsive as the others. This one is no different and that it moves kinda sluggish. It is still a good installment to the series though. The customers ask for special orders too early in my progression in the game and that the phone call requests are a trial and error on what food items they want. I'm left with customers with special orders I can't fulfill for long periods of time interrupting my game flow.

Love the game, it's really nice and fun to play, I also like the fact that it's kinda based on anime. And for just being released, no wonder it called "hungry hearts"cus I'm hungry for the hearts. its also teaches me how to make ramen. 9.9/10. It would be easier if you could hire workers, you know, not to kill the backs of the gramp and granny 😂
